Forrest’s Tire Service has been delivering tire & auto service and repair to satisfied customers throughout rural South Carolina since 1976. We focus on building strong customer relationships and provide the highest quality of workmanship on everything that we do

Founded in 1976 by Forrest and Hilda Haltiwanger, the original tire shop was a single bay in the Johnston Shell Station in Johnston, SC. Forrest sold and repaired tires out of the Shell Station.

In 1978, the opportunity came for Forrest & Hilda to buy a former Allis Chalmers Tractor Dealership on the corner of SC Hwy 121 & SC Hwy 191. The couple renovated the dealership into the existing Forrest’s Tire Service, Inc. location. They continued to run the business for 37 more years.

On January 1, 2015, Forrest & Hilda’s son, Brandon Haltiwanger and his wife Diana, took ownership of Forrest’s Tire Service. Brandon and Diana are the 2nd generation owners of the business.

Through the years, Forrest’s Tire Service, Inc has serviced Edgefield County and the surrounding areas. We look forward to serving the area for many more years in the future.
